Annual Summer Group Show
Award-winning Toronto artist Carol Westcott’s paintings depict the natural environment and ‘urban-scapes’ in acrylic, mixed media and watercolour. A recent exhibition of her work was described by the curator as capturing ‘the atmosphere inherent in the landscape’ and ‘manipulating form and colour to near abstraction [producing] imagery that is both convincing and original’.
Represented in galleries, corporate and private collections, Carol’s work is collected internationally. Canadian collections include Cassels Brock LLP, Royal LePage, LePage & Stewart Brokerage, Steamwhistle Brewery, Mill Street Florist (Manotick), The Canadian Society of Painters In Watercolour Diploma Collection, Art Gallery of Peel and the Government of Ontario Art Collection, Archives of Ontario.
Carol is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists, The Society of Canadian Artists and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.
